Yesterday, Peter Konetchy was disqualified as a candidate for the Republican Party nomination for United States Senate by the bipartisan Board of Canvassers.
Konetchy, of Roscommon, did not turn in enough valid petition signatures to appear on the August 7 primary election ballot.
This is good news for Republicans and good conservatives. As I previously wrote about, Konetchy is an extremist whose racist and xenophobic views are unwelcome in our party or the conservative movement.
